A100

Today started sunny, showered up,by that time cloudy again...'rats'.  Its so gray and bleak nothing much is going to present itself.  Figure  i'll need the speed to shoot low iso.  So grabbed my a100 and put a sigma 75-200 2.8/3.5 on.

Its shoots open aperature and manual focus but its much easier to see focus on the ovf.  Manual on the a55 sometimes using focus magnifier is the only way to nail focus especially either 2.8 or 3.5. The sun made brief appearances. It was the first time i really used the sigma on it. With a converter its quite a bit slower on auto-focus than with the a55 so i never bothered.

The cmos sensor and or mirror definately adds a little c/a..at least green magenta variety.  With the a100 ca is half at most wide open compared to the a55. Had fun using my a100 for a change, i have to remind myself it more than capable of stunning low iso photography.

These are not anything special..wasnt out long(my hiking sneakers were getting soaked) I think i will finally put the camera strap on my a100..leave the sigma on and sling it over my shoulder when out my a55 now and again...
