Gymnastics and 5D MK III - difficult light setup...

Dear Experts...
I was shooting at the Indianapolis Convention Center last Saturday, and I notice the different lightning at the back wall changing collors on me - See the sequence of 3 shots - it went from light red, white and then red. I have the focus set on the vault, evaluative meeting, ISO to 4000 and manual mode (shooting RAW) - lens is a 70-200L + 2x extender. Why the wall changed colors from one frame to another ? Any thoughts ? I can't blame the camera, but I would like to improve on my next shooting. Any comments are really welcome.
