Does anybody else think B&W photography is overused these days?

Thank you for examples. This is not what I meant when I said "B&W is overused". In these cases B&W is probably justified and I can see why you chose it. Great photos. But still, maybe I can use one to illustrate my (probably different) point.



This is a very pleasing photo and it looks good in B&W. But, when I see this I think of US Southwest, where I have been and I saw other photos of similar locations in color. I see the sky is deep blue, the mountains in the background are red and a green tree in foreground bringing interesting contrast to the scene. And I don't know how yellow would ground look in that light.

All scene is full of bright colors, that's my perception of that location.

I guess, I just don't get it and it's completely a matter of taste.
