Shore-birding in Florida with the NEX (55-210+1.7x TC)

Comparing my sons pics form his Nikon DSLR, and being continually disappointed in the noise was  what pushed me toward a camera with a bigger sensor.  Still,it had full manual,controls which was handy.  MY first decent camera was a Minolta X-570 SLR back,in the early 80's.
