@ Deed: Thanks for the tips. I was aware of Command B for Browser and Command T for tools, but F11 does not work for me to toggle the Main Viewer, or to hide the Main Viewer.

Also, if you hide the Viewer and toggle the Browser to show the "Grid" view, you can't double click on a thumbnail to bring up the Main Viewer. You have to select a thumbnail, then bring up the Viewer by selecting it from the menus; there is no key shortcut for doing this.
