MFA using an LCD monitor as subject.

Hi,
Bought a 6D recently and found that I needed to adjust focus of some lenses (Canon 100-400 and Tamron 70-300 VC). I used my LCD TV and PC monitor as subject. Placed the camera on a tripod and under a 45 degrees angle with respect to the LCD. Where focus lies you will see something like focus peak as is known from Pentax or Magic Lantern. Zoom the picture in and out and you'll clearly see where focus lies.
After adjustment I placed the camera right in front of the LCD and took some pictures. An in focus picture showed moire when viewing that picture on the cameras LCD, an OOF picture did not. All pictues were OK.
Went outside to check it on real life subjects and adjustment turned out to be perfect.
Anyone else used this technique ?
Regards, Sandor.
