I haven't bought yet.  (I've no shortage of cameras and the recent announcements about developments in the X100s have persuaded me to wait......)  Lack of WR was one of my few concerns about the XE1.  I started a thread on this too.   The responses seem to suggest that the vast majority of owners haven't had any problems.  A few have posted about dust more than water.

The X series are obviously much like any other unsealed camera in relation to sealing.  My personal view is  that this is a bit disappointing for premium cameras. THE compact size and light weight of CSCs makes them ideal for travel and trekking and so on, and that's where WR is at its best.  There are several cheaper DSLRs that are environmentally sealed.  It won't stop me buying though.
