I have to agree, Sactojim, kingfishers are difficult to get close to and in my experience impossible to stalk, be it from land or via the water's surface. I certainly don't envy your challenge with the Kayak, but I'd guess you do manage to obtain some wonderful images from such a low perspective. Thanks very much for popping in with the comment.
