The G15 loses the dedicated ISO dial, apparently that wasn't everything it lost.

I guess the lack of this feature might cause concern for some. Even though I could increase the ISO on my G10 in situations like these I rarely used it. CCD sensors go over a cliff noise wise with long exposures. It does seem a shame that Canon decided to cripple the high sensitivity CMOS sensor in the G15 this way.

I find myself anxiously awaiting hacked firmware for the G15 to unlock several of these new "features" Canon has forced on us.

I think Canon are starting to lower the spec of the original G line to split it into two lines ,the original G & the G-X line, a bit like the EOS Rebel & xxD line In SLR's .
