I have both of these and both are good examples of their type. The 12-35 is sharper and faster than the 14-140 but much less versatile, of course.
For video, the 14-140 is almost a one lens solution. The restricted maximum aperture matters less for video plus it focuses closely and quickly.
If I had to have one or the other for video and stills I would still choose the 14-140. For stills alone, I would opt for the 12-35 but to have to buy another lens as well, say the 35-100, or even a cheaper one is still an expensive solution.
If money was a concern, I could happily live with the 14-140. Stopped down to f8 it is very sharp and with the modern sensor performance of M43 using higher ISO to keep the shutter speed up is less of an issue.
I have a couple of videos on the lenses 14-140 here and 12-35 here
