I have a friend who has the Nikon 500mm f4 newest lens with a D4 I think. It is heavyyyyyy.

My other friend has the new Canon 500mm f4 newest lens. It feels down right light compared to the Nikon? I lifted another guys Nikon 400mm f2.8 lens on a tripod. And it was really heavy.

You might think about weight and rent or find a friend with the lens.
