Who's waiting for the 6d price to drop?

Here in the UK we complain about rip-off prices, with some justification relative to US prices (even allowing for 20% VAT in the UK), and if you choose to be an early adopter you certainly pay through the nose. But a little patience works wonders. The 5DIII was introduced in spring 2012 at £3,000. Street price for stock supplied through Canon UK is now about £2,250, and I bought "grey" in early December for £1,900, which seems to me to be a fair price for what the 5DIII has to offer. I see no reason why the 6D price should not follow a similar trajectory here, and that may well apply elsewhere. The tradeoff between having the camera in hand now and paying less for it later is of course a personal decision.
