Purchased the lens from B&H Photo.
They still use the old Sigma picture. It is just confusing. I also consider it to replace my old Pentax 18-250.
Is your Pentax 18-250 broken, or is the new Sigma that much better?

I'm thankful to still be able to...
There is nothing wrong with Pentax DA18-250. This lens is very useful for most photographic situations. I sometimes like to use for its compact size and I use it in combination with some limited lenses when I need to travel without the burden of excess luggage.
I sold it when Pentax announce a replacement for this lens (Pentax DA18-270), but their price offer for new models is just fantastic. So, I try to find another option from Sigma, on paper and sample pictures looks good (better). With Pentax 18-250, especially for their longest fl, I can not get excellent sharpness (subjective) at f8 or above. Sigma seems to behave a bit differently, better at shortest and max f length. I use some Sigma lens and quite satisfied with their HSM features as not noisy, fast and lock properly.
