At $500 a piece, it is about half the price of 12-24 f4 DX ($1199 at Amazon).
I've sold off most of my DSLR gears so it is a no brainer for me.
Maybe I should use 10-24 f3.5-4.5 DX for price comparison.
10-24 DX is about $850 a piece.
