The 20mm is no problem. You can easily mke it up with a little cropping. The only possible problem
is that with the 17-50 you'll probably do more lens changing than with the 18-105 VR and 70-300.

Which 70-300 do you have? Nikon makes or made three different ones. The 70-300G was not a great lens. The 70-300D was better, but it was not stabilized. The 70-300 VR is a very good lens. Sigma and Tamron make 70-300's ranging from not too good to very good.
