Fuji M adapter

Anybody know if a Leica M lens that has been 6-bit coded will work with the Fuji M adapter--and if it does, what additional information it transmits over the cheaper adapters that have no contacts? I am thinking of a Leica Elmarit 90/2.8 since Fuji has nothing like that in the pipeline. Since there are Chinese adapters with no contacts at all, I am concerned that any ones installed to fit Leica may not fit the Fuji adapter. Or, maybe it would be just fine. Appreciate any help here.
