There doesn't seem to be any joy taken in figuring how to set up the shoot, plan ahead, work around limitations of the equipment (which there always are), work the light, modify the light, try to get it right on the first shot, etc.

It seems to be worst with this recent crop of new OM-d owners.

I don't know why they bother becuase they shure don't seem to enjoy photogrqaphy.

I've noticed the same trend of late. People willing to spend huge amounts of money on an EM-5 - and lenses at the time of purchase, with no clue as to how they'll use the camera - but not willing to invest any time in learning about photography or able to realise that some skills really are needed.

Some new camera owners should be disappointed with their results. They may be comparing them with those from people who have been seriously into photography for decades, and they don't come close. It has very little to do with the capabilities of the camera!
