There is only one bridge camera on the market, the X-S1. It's not competing against anything else, some people just don't see that though and lumber it in with all those toy zooms.

The term "Bridge camera" was originally used to refer to cameras which "bridged the gap" between point-and-shoot cameras and DSLRs.

As such there are many which means more than one.

It doesn't matter whether it has manual zoom or not, that is unless one persists to take a blinkered view on the matter. With clear sight one will have a clear view.
