Sony 55-300mm- Very Capable

Hi Carl,

thank you for - might I dare to say finally? - posting the review!

So far I am undecided between the Tamron 70-300 USD and the Sony 55-300 but I am leaning towards the Sony for its size and weight as well as the good optical performance. What I don't like is the rotating front element and a faster AF would be appreciated. But you can't have it all - especially for this price-tag.
