OMD EM5 Myset1 Fn1 Question

This is a very detailed, intricate camera but I am starting to learn it. I do have a question. I made the Myset1 into a bracketing scheme. I assigned the Fn1 button to Myset1. Yet do you have to hold in the Fn1 button for it to work? When I depress Fn1 I see Myset1 yet when I take my finger off it's back to default...
