Carry Speed VF-3 on the K-01 and the Q.

Hi folks,

I now have it set up so I can use the Carry Speed VF-3 Universal LCD View Finder on my Pentax K-01 and my Pentax Q.

The next five images are on the Pentax Q with the Pentax DA*300/4 attached. In order to make it work properly on the Pentax Q I had to order this Aluminium Quick Release Plate Arca-Swiss Compatible. Without this Aluminum QRP you are unable to see the bottom line of the LCD because it is blocked by the Carry Speed VF-3.I have one of the Q to K mount adapters from ebay attached. I'm not sure if this will work with the Pentax brand Q to K mount adapter. You might have to cut/grind of some of the Aluminum Quick Release Plate I linked to above in order to make it work with the Pentax brand Q to K. With this setup for the Q I can shoot handheld if I want to and still get some pretty good long focal length images. Even on a tripod it will be so much better to be able to see the viewfinder to focus these long focal lengths.
