Mt Fuji from the Cockpit - Sony RX100

Photos of Mt Fuji shot from the Cockpit of a Boeing 777.

Camera Sony RX100 on Advanced Auto setting (i+). Clear Image Zoom was used for the close-ups of the peak.

Note that these photos were shot thru a 2" thick Cockpit window, and that too at an oblique angle, so take that into consideration when judging clarity and resolution.

Some post processing was done in iPhoto, mainly levels and colour balance.

Overview of the mountain and surrounding countryside. Note the zig zag road leading up to the mountain.

Here I chose a warmer white balance in post processing.
