Yes you would want a fluid head for video when using a tripod.
FYI google Fancier 717 and Weifeng 717 fluid heads, I decided to buy a cheap backup and turned out to be smother than my "good" one.
The heads go for $65-80 and sets with legs for $150-175 or so, I got the head/leg combo with the 75mm bowl (so much easier to level) Not many bargains in the camera world so I thought I's share
