Nikon Customer Service (D4) Horrible

Sent my D4 in because CF cards were not readable.  A few days upon Nikon receiving it I got a email saying the reapir was $420!  I called NIkon and they said they needed my proof of purchase to verify warranty.  Sent a copy of my receipt to Nikon and a few days passed without a reply.

Today I get an email saying the the repair is NOT covered!  Damage to CF card slot (bent pin) was done by a "faulty" CF card.   Card I used was BRAND NEW..

I have read posts from other users about having bent pins and there is a blog about from another D4 user and their reapirs were covered under warranty.... I am DONE with Nikon if they are gonna charge me after they told me they repair was covered.  $6000 for a camera and not covering a reapir that cant be proven to be the fault of anyone is BS.
