Retailer talked me out of OMD!!!!!!

After tons of reaserach and lots of help on DP Review I went to my local Camera store and decided to buy a OMD EM5 instead of using a FF DSLR.

I went into the shop and asked for:

Olympus OMD EM5 + Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 + Panasonic 35-100 f2.8 + Panasonic 100 - 300

Total price £3,250. Job done, well I thought so until the guy said "is this your first set up" and I said no I had 5DMK II and also several other cameras in the past, but wanted a more compact system.

Then the curve ball................. Are you sure you will be happy with this system as it wont give you the same photographic flexibility of the Cannon FF.

Cutting a long storey short, he suggested that the OMD won't be usable above ISO 3200 and probably above  ISO 1600 for large prints and that MFT also doesn't have a shallow DOF and also dynamic range will suffer.

He suggested...........................

Buying the OMD with a kit lens and also buy a Canon 6D with Tamron 28-70 f2.8 and Canon 70-300 L IS £3,450

Help its sending me crazzzzzzzzzy
