Step by step, X100 RAF files PC back to X100 for in camera editing...
Jan 11, 2013

Some of you may be interested in how to load photos back onto the X100 to take advantage of it's amazing in camera editing capabilities. Here's an easy way to do it:

1) Format an empty SD card in the camera.

2) Take one picture of anything. This creates a folder on the card labelled DCIM, with a subfolder called Fuji, which is where you copy your pics to. This is the step I kept missing - there has to be a file path, created by the X100, for it to read once you load your pics there.

3) Remove the SD card and put it into your PC or MAC.4) Go to the SD card and open the DCIM folder and then the subfolder - FUJI.5) Simply drag and drop - copy the RAF files you previously downloaded from your X100, to the FUJI folder.6) Eject the SD card and put it into the X100 - it will now be able to read all the RAF files you transferred, using the path you set up in the first place by taking that one pic as in step 2 above.7) Select the photo you want to edit in camera - push the RAW button and you're ready to edit to your heart's content.Best,Angus
