Night photography and focusing

Does the landscape scene do anything, like setting the focus to the  hyper focal distance ?

I have posted that I think the NEX should  have a hyper focal setting or at least tell you the distance the lens is focused.  I can't find the focus info in the image file either.

Maybe on the next firmware update.:-D
