X100s - Auto Focus Speed While Using The OVF

The speed of the auto-focus on the X100s has certainly been improved based on the videos I've seen so far. All the videos I've seen are using the display on the back of the camera to show the scene though. Will the speed of the auto focus be similar when using the optical viewfinder?
