Sony a900 compared to the a700

I went from an A700 to an A850 and wouldn't look back. A new A900 for $900 is unheard of; if its used, make sure everything works and you have some sort of guarantee.

I love the higher pixel count (double), MUCH better viewfinder, and the ability to use Spot focusing which disables the stupid "joystick changes focus point" misfeature. I also like getting the full use from my 17-35 lens. I don't shoot much wildlife or sports so the crop factor is not helpful to me, and I came to digital from medium format so the heavier A850 body isn't an issue.
