I have both and used both quite a bit in the last few years. As you understand, it is really come down to what you want to shoot. But for general macro, or in other words, you don't have a clue what you want to shoot, get the 60 G. It is smaller, cheaper than the 105 G. If you find out one day you are really into bugs, you never know, then go get a 105 G or longer macro.
