Jessops (uk camera store) has entered administration

I feel sorry for employees who lose their jobs and customers holding credit notes or gift cards, but in all other regards I'm pleased to see Jessops fail, and hope it doesn't return. It was a hopelessly mismanaged business for probably 15 years. Ever since the founder - was he Ken Jessop? - stepped down, the business sidelined enthusiast gear and knowledgeable staff - just as the world changed such that high street shops offering D&P services and P&S compacts ceased to be what the market wanted.
