Is there any user group for the Canon Pixma Pro 1...

Is there any user group for the Canon Pixma Pro 1? I searched Yahoo groups but to no avail.

Or, am I the only person stupid enough to purchase one? I say this as the first printer supplied was dead straight out of the box. And am a bit worried about Canons quality control.

This printer was purchased to replace an HP B9810 that had a short but very eventful life, I am worried that the same thing will happen to the Canon
