Returned the LX7

I own the LX-3 as a companion to my Canon 40D. I especially use it on Ski holiday as it is more manageable than the 40D.

An I must say that the LX-3 has served me very very well. It has stayed with me longer than any digital camera. I only use it i RAW and I love the results. But there are also things I really hate about the LX-3, witch is solved in the LX-7.

The LX-3 video is below par with slow AF, no zoom, lots of flare. Also switching from video (16:9) to pictures (3:2) is a real nightmare. This is so much better on the LX-7. Also I have checked the samples over and over again and the LX-7 does a very decent job compared to the LX-3 in RAW.

I ordered the Dlux-6 wich unfortunately has not arrived yet. I wanted to switch to lightroom and as it comes free with Leica camera's it is a nice bonus too. Although well paid for 

I suspect the Dlux-6 will stay with me for a long time. Next is the 7DmkII.
