I always turn off SR and use time delay when using tripod. The results then are always good. It just that it seems quite often there is a blur in one axis when SR is on using the camera hand held. I am pixel peeping for sure but I like to make large prints and it does show then.
Maybe the problem is that I never had a camera with this high resloution and small defect are more visible.
