Sony E-Mount compact telephoto?

I just sold my SEL55210 and picked up a Minolta MD 135mm f/2.8.  They're about the same length, but the 55-210 almost doubles in length at the long end.  Also, the Minolta is f/2.8 max aperture, while the SEL55210 can only go down to f/5.6 (two full stops) at 135mm.
