Colors are dull on my dslr compared to P&S.....Can I adjust settings for all pics?

Be careful in using twilight, because it is a very strong effect that is extremely hard to remove from JPEGs.  I was using it once for some dawn pictures and forgot to switch back to a more normal style before taking pictures of a different subject.  I wasn't chimping closely and didn't realize the mistake until it was too late to go back.  No matter how much I tried to PP the pictures, I couldn't fully remove the purple without harming other colors in the picture.
