I was concerned about the toshiba sensor too, but after looking at this flexibility in the NEFs from it as shown on this image from CNET UK...

...I'm now a lot less concerned.  The high-ISO shots on photographyblog (http://www.photographyblog.com/previews/nikon_d5200_photos) also show slightly-better-than-D3200 performance, as far as my eye can tell.  Interestingly, the dynamic range example from CNET UK shows a more D700-esque range of information.  In otherwords, its info in the shadows AND highlights, where all the Sony exmors have generally only had any reasonably accurate extended information in the shadows.

It will be interesting to see how it does when sensorgen.info and DXOMark add D5200 analysis data.
