Wilmington, DE riverfront - LX7

I live outside of Philadelphia and spend a LOT of time in Philly. But I'm actually a good deal closer to Wilmington, Delaware and have probably been to downtown Wilmington maybe 8-10 times in the 20 years I've lived here. And those were usually to go to a destination, do whatever I needed to do there, and then leave and drive home. So yesterday I was down in that area and decided to take the LX7 and do some walking. I'd NEVER been to the riverfront re-development area so yesterday I parked down there and walked around for a couple of hours. These photos are from that walk, including a couple of interior shots from the Riverfront Market, a small market area that does a pretty good business at lunch (I took these at about 10:30 or so in the morning, so very empty, but it filled up later). I"m gonna have to spend some time walking around downtown proper at some point - its a sort of nice small city.

The primary reason for this post is just to reiterate how much I love this camera. at low ISOs the IQ is as good as I'd ever want - I tend to process a lot of my stuff into an impressionist's worst nightmare anyway, so perfect IQ isn't high on my list of necessities! And with its fast lens and being adequate up to ISO 800 (1600 in a real pinch), it does well enough in lower light situations. I have better low light cameras that I'd grab for a specialized application, but I'd never hesitate to take the LX7 into almost any general shooting situations. And the controls are just so right that its one of my favorite cameras to shoot with - ever. I felt like that with the LX5 and feel it doubly so with the LX7.
