Leica Telyt R 400mm f.6.8

After buying the Canon 60Da astro camera, I have re-discovered my old Telyt R lens, and I'll bet a lot of people will do the same when they get their Leica M. I have tried a lot of legacy lenses, but so far only the 60mm macro R, the 180 Elmarit R (2nd version) and the 400 Telyt have no CA or halo artifacts for astro photography. The 60mm is in a class of its own for wide field astro work. Head over to my gallery to see what can be done with these lenses when they are pointed into space. For tech info, head over to our new Astrophotography Forum, and all will be revealed
Here are my two latest images with the Telyt 400.
The Pleiades. You can clearly see how the stars' solar winds are pushing interstelar dust in all directions
Andromeda Galaxy. The dust lanes are crisp and clear.
