Why isn't there more buzz about the Olympus 17mm f1.8?

You asked what I was doing, and it is keeping the ISO down. The banding wouldn't stop me from using  ISO3200 - I just don't do 3200 period.

Unless your street photography is at night you are going to have ISO1600 type light levels in most cases. If you've got a lot of motion, one stop isn't going to save you. Everyone looks at these things differently.
