My take on the D600 lubricant/dust issue

As was suggested above, the issue is just not economical to fix.

regardless if it oil, friction of the shutter, mirror housing, plastic body parts, or whatever else you may find - it is too expensive to do.

When Nikon gives you a brand new lens at no charge, you know something is wrong.
