Re: Stay with Canon

Several months ago Canon was having AF problems and several Canon users switched to Nikon. Nowdays, it seems that the shoe is on the other foot, Nikon has had problems with the D800 AF and the D600 seems to have oil spots on the sensor. Until Nikon gets their gear straightened out you are better off with Canon. Looking at the professional magazines now out there, most portraits are being done with Canon. The 50mm f1.2 and 85mm f1.2 lens are killer lenses and widely used for portraits.
Stay with what you have. There really isn't that much difference in a 36mp file and 24mp file. I remember when a 6mp file produced great wall pictures. It seems that most photographers will never have enough mp's for their pictures.
respectfully,
David Miller
