This is in line with the rumors of the next sony FF being radically changed. My guess is sony realizes that with on sensor PDAF improving, there is no good reason to sacrifice iso performance, and plans to remove that mirror. This may or may not affect A mount, but it's almost a certainty that the SLT design is on the way out. This is actually good news really, it could mean I can use my sony lenses on another sony camera someday.
