I'd add to this

DSLT will be eliminated as soon as on-sensor phase detect AF is as fast as off-sensor phase detect AF. Judging by the interim progress made for the 99, this will arrive soon enough, possibly at the end of this year with the possible launch of a FF NEX.

It's not just a matter of fast (speed) but also sensitivity (low light) and precision. Especially the second seems the biggest hurdle to overcome.
