I am a wedding photographer and I use 2 D300's. You might want to consider the D5200 (or the D5100 if they are still available).

I really like the articulating LCD screen on the D5100. It allows me to hold the camera over my head and tilt the LCD screen down for viewing in live view mode. And it has a movie mode. As for low light performance, its not bad.
