hello all. Can you tell me what you think is the best setup to go?

i want to have a overall good lens, but also want a bit range for wildlife or sport. So, what would i go for?

Option 1: Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM

or

Option 2: Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Lens + Canon EF Extender 2x III

i cant hold my camera very steady, so i need a stabelizer else i could even go for the f/2.8

thank for the help

greetings

Between these two options, go with the 100-400L, the only alternative worth a discussion is the f2.8 MII with 2xTC, but you've said that's out of your range.

So go with the 100-400L.  It's a great lens, and I would get it over the 70-200 f4 L if you are going to be doing wildlife.
