Yes and No.

If your composition is on the same focal plane, focus and recompose might work. If they are not, then depending up your F Stop, either one will be OOF.

You are probably trying to say something about the error with F&R. At 200mm and f/4, so close to the center, you are not going to notice anything. It is not like nobody was able to take such a shot with the 5D/5D2 or any other Canon.

The multiple accurate AF points are useful when the subject moves, or with fast wide lenses.

When somebody starts a thread with a photo that even the 300D can take without a problem, and puts the title "This is why I upgraded to the 5DIII", he deserves to get some heat.
