unknown piece of photo/video gear

my friend is into buying storage lockers and came across a strange piece of equipment that is used in video/photo. how ever we can not find out what it i, we have looked online several times and cant seem to find out exactly what we have. it came in a small green box. around the same size of a tissue box with a logo printed on it (see pictures). ive also attached some other pictures of the item itself. i have 2 of what is pictured as well as some other bracket looking pieces that are stil unopened. the items are flawless. it looks like they are brand new.

if anyone has an idea of what they are, or interested in buying or trading for them please let me know.
