Focus peaking does make a large difference with MF legacy lenses. Its not perfect by any means, but for me personally, I wouldn't go to a camera that doesn't have it. I only use MF legacy lenses and due to focus peaking now with MF, I find I can take images not possible before more consistently.

For MF lenses I would recommend the NEX over m4/3 until m4/3 gets focus peaking. I would jump on a GH3 if they do add it. Focus peaking is customisable in the NEX with both different colours and contrasts.

If m4/3 does get it eventually, it would be an excellent system with the 2x crop factor and using larger lenses.
