My take on the D600 lubricant/dust issue

Maybe, maybe not.  Sometimes a class action suit is the only thing that will make a large corp take notice.  For 5 years Honda knowingly sold cars that had odometers that read 10% MORE mileage than the autos actually had... which caused the cars warranty to expire 10% earlier than it should have.  It wasn't until a class action suit was filed that Honda addressed the situation... as a result a few lawyers made a LOT of money.... but also many thousands of people... including myself had their warranties extended by 10,000 miles or were refunded any repairs they had paid for when their car should have been under warranty.

Nikon may just figure they can get away with this one.... JUst a Honda did.
